Dana Point’s new crime prevention campaign is now being featured on websites like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. 

The city posted a comment about Hide It, Lock It, Or Lose It on its Facebook page on January 12^th.  There is also a link included that directs you to the city website for more information about this program.

In addition, there is a new public service announcement that is popping up all over the place!  The announcement is currently airing on Cox Cable TV-Channel 3 as well as the local city channel.  It is also up on the City of Dana Point website and YouTube so check it out!

The PSA has been airing on DPTV30/855, Cox3, and Cox’s cable rotation on random channels.  You can see it on DPTV at the top of each hour between 3pm and 8pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

If you watch cable TV, you will probably see it on whatever channel you are watching at some point.

No Zombie warnings here! However, Dana Point Police Services’ new campaign, “Hide It, Lock It, Or Lose It”, is getting some valuable face time on a very busy street. You can now see the campaign’s website listed on one of the city’s construction signs at various locations on PCH. “It’s exciting to see our idea in lights, so to speak. We will continue to move the sign around to different areas and busy intersections to try and reach as many people as possible,” says Cassie Levine, Community Services Officer. It’s our friendly reminder to you…protect your valuables by making sure they are out of sight AND lock your car every time!
